Safety Training

The following safety training definitions are used on the DGACA website profiles:

“MANDATORY DGA SAFETY TRAINING COMPLETED” means that the individual is eligible to work as they have attended and successfully completed the Mandatory DGA Safety Training course (CSATF “A” Course + DGPTP Safety Passport Training).

“DGA SAFETY TRAINING NOT COMPLETED” means the individual’s eligibility to work on any DGA Basic Agreement or FLTTA covered project has been suspended until successful completion of Mandatory DGA Safety Training.

“NEW YORK SAFETY PASS TRAINING COMPLETED” means that the individual is eligible to work in the New York area as they have attended and successfully completed the regional New York DGA Safety Training course (NYTP Safety Passport Training).

“COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING NON-MANDATORY CSATTF SAFETY PASS COURSE(S)” means that the individual has voluntarily attended the specified non-mandatory CSATTF Safety Pass course(s) and has successfully completed such additional training with hands-on participation and required testing, if any*.

* Note that the CSATTF Safety Pass courses are intended to teach safety practices; they are not skills training courses.
